Renewal of Practising Certificate

Subsection 31(1) of the Act required that the training institution shall hold a valid practising certificate to conduct a training course and carry out a continuous development programme under the Act.

The renewal process generally consists of:

  • Submission of application;
  • Review by the Commission;
  • Compliance review (if required); and
  • Issuance of practising certificate.
The Commission may require a compliance audit to ascertain compliance to the terms and conditions set out by the Commission and for improvement of the training course.

Upon approving the renewal application, the Commission shall update in the Register and re-issue Practising Certificate of Registration as Training Institution.
