RTI to Conduct Training Course for REM
The requirements to become RTI to conduct a training course to be a REM are as follows:
- a company, limited liability partnership, firm, society, or other body of persons incorporated or established under any written law;
- has at least one (1) permanent or contract staff to process training application including vetting the applicant qualification;
- has at least one (1) permanent or contract staff for compliance review by the Commission;
- own or rent a registered office address;
- capability to own or rent training venue and equipment for the purpose of conducting training;
- own a complete syllabus or training course as follows:
- Appendix AA – for the purpose of a registered training institution to conduct training course for REM First Type;
- Appendix BB – for the purpose of registered training institution to conduct training course for REM Second Type;
- has a pool of certified trainer where 80% must have valid REM certificate all time during each training session;
- has established one (1) management procedure that comprises the following:
- procedure for organizing training;
- procedure for organizing examination;
- procedure for managing failed and repeat training or asessment;
- has established the examination committee;
- has established the approval committee; and
- has not been convicted of an offence involving fraud, dishonesty, or corruption
